Description

These larger A3 (420 x 297 mm or 16.5 x 11.75 inches) coats of arms (or family crests) are printed on a choice of either vellum (lighter) or antiqua (darker) parchment paper (not on photo paper). The text underneath show the heraldic blazon (accurate description of the coat of arms and crest (the smaller image above the helmet)) and if a motto exists, the translation from its original language, i.e. Latin, Gaelic, French, etc., into English.

Features include:

Fully authentic coat of arms (family crest). These are historically accurate as recorded in ancient documents and books, including Burke’s General Armory, Fairbairn’s Book of Crests, Riestap’s Armorial Général, amongst others.

Available for most British or Irish surnames, and many European and international surnames. You can search for coats of arms surnames on our name search pages or feel free to contact us with the name(s) required.

You can specify a preferred country of origin for the coat of arms at the time of ordering. You can also specify any preferred coat of arms when ordering since many coats of arms can be registered bearing the same surname. Otherwise, we normally use the oldest coat of arms most associated with the surname, if none is specified

These are sent ready for framing in the standard A3 paper size. Picture frames are available off-the-shelf from many shops.

Postal cost: £2.95 for 1st class UK post; £4.50 for International Airmail.

These are sent in a postal tube and are charged as a Small Parcel by Royal Mail.
